The Equipment is developed for semi-automatic assembly and testing of a vehicle transmission cable, and consists of five working stations which are integrated into a common Line with a single control cabinet and user interface.
Process
Each station provides step-by-step assembly process by the operator, from 23 individual components to fully assembled product.
After the most important operations such as crimping, the product being tested for a gap, with pre-defined pulling force.
Presence of components in the final product is checked automatically, regardless of the Operator.
Functionality of the completed product is tested at the final stage, to verify that force and stroke of the rope corresponds to specified values.
